Reformer Pilates
Reformer Pilates is a style of Pilates developed by Joseph Pilates in 1926. It’s a low impact form of exercises that utilized the Reformer machine which features adjustable springs and a sliding carriage. The method focuses on controlled movements that strengthen the whole body, enhance flexibility and improve overall body alignment.
One of the key benefits of Reformer Pilates is the meditative quality it offers. The practice encourages mindfulness and concentration, allowing participants to connect deeply with their bodies and breath providing the perfect antidote to our busy lives. This mental focus transforms the workout into an exercise for both the mind and body, promoting relaxation and will leave you feeling strong and energised.
What are the benefits of Reformer Pilates?
Increased core strength and stability
Improved flexibility and range of motion
Enhanced muscular endurance
Better posture and overall body alignment
Improved mood
